RACETRAC REWARDS PROGRAM Terms of Use (the “Rewards Terms”) 

PLEASE READ THESE SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY (“REWARDS TERMS”).  BY ACCESSING OR USING the RaceTrac Reward Program, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.  THESE REWARDS TERMS INCORPORATE BY REFERENCE the RACETRAC TERMS OF USE (Available HereAND PRIVACY POLICY (Available Here) for the RaceTrac Online System.  

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE REWARDS TERMS, YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE REWARDS PROGRAM. 

You acknowledge (a) that you have read and understood these Rewards Terms; and (b) that these Rewards Terms have the same force and effect as a signed agreement.  Your enrollment in or participation in the Rewards Program confirms your acceptance of these Rewards Terms and any such changes or modifications.  If you do not agree to the Rewards Terms or any modifications or changes, your sole recourse is to cease participating in the Rewards Program.  RaceTrac reserves the right to disqualify Members who have violated these Rewards Terms or the RaceTrac Terms of Use.  

These Rewards Terms apply to your access to, and participation in, the RaceTrac Rewards loyalty program which is operated by RaceTrac, Inc., or its subsidiaries and affiliates, agents and licensees (collectively, “RaceTrac” or “we”, “our” and “us”) in the United States through our rewards website and mobile application (the “Rewards Program”).  These Rewards Terms do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with us.  The terms "Member," "Members," "you," and "your" apply to you as a member of the Rewards Program; the term "account" refers to your Rewards Program account.   

We may change, modify, update, change, suspend, terminate and/or eliminate the Rewards Program and/or these Rewards Terms or any other policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to the Rewards Program, including without limitation modify the number of Points (as defined below) required to be eligible for any or all Rewards, at any time and in our sole discretion. Any changes or modifications to these Rewards Terms will be effective immediately, unless otherwise stated, upon posting the changes or modifications to the applicable portions of the Sites, and you waive any right you may have to receive notice of any such changes or modifications.  Your continued participation in the Rewards Program confirms your acceptance of any such changes or modifications. 

This Rewards Program, including without limitation the Sites (only those portions related to the Rewards Program) and the portion of the Mobile App used to access your account (collectively, the “Mobile App” together with the remaining portion of the Sites used to access and use the Rewards Program, the “Rewards System”) is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, any anyone under the age of 13.  The Rewards System will be deemed part of the Sites.  

Enrollment; Eligibility 

Enrollment is available to U.S. residents only who are 13 years of age or older.  If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may only use the Rewards Program under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who consents and agrees to be bound by these Rewards Terms with respect to your use and participation in the Rewards Program and Rewards System. 

To become a member in the Rewards Program, you must complete the following steps: 

1a. Download the Mobile App to your Android™ or iPhone® device, access the Mobile App via the Sites or enroll via SMS. By doing so, you agree to the SMS terms of use below.  Follow the prompts to create an account using a valid email address, phone number, and password. Members who join via one of these channels are considered “Fully Enrolled Members”. Fully Enrolled Members are eligible to earn points on qualifying purchases and receive eligible offers based on their communications opt-in preferences.    

1b. You may enroll in RaceTrac Rewards with an Enrollment Only Account by entering your phone number at the point of sale (IE: the gas pump, or the register). Enrollment Only Accounts do not have access to all features and services of the Program.   

RaceTrac Rewards offers three (3) membership types:  

1. Enrollment‑Only Members  

Users who enroll in RaceTrac Rewards by providing a phone number at the point of sale (“POS”). Enrollment‑Only Members are eligible to earn points only. They are not eligible to receive or redeem offers or discounts.  

2. Verified Enrollment‑Only Members  

Enrollment‑Only Members who have verified their phone number pursuant to the process set forth below by responding “Y” or “Yes” to the verification text message. Verified Enrollment‑Only Members are eligible to earn points, receive offers and discounts, and redeem eligible offers and discounts at the point of sale by entering their enrolled phone number.  

3. Fully Enrolled Members  

Users who enroll in RaceTrac Rewards through the RaceTrac mobile application or website, or who enroll via SMS text or at the point of sale and subsequently log in to the RaceTrac mobile application or website using the same phone number provided at enrollment. Fully Enrolled Members are eligible for all program benefits, including earning and redeeming points, and receiving and redeeming offers and discounts.  

Phone Number Verification for Point-of-Sale Enrollments  

When registering for a new RaceTrac Rewards account via entering your phone number at the point of sale (POS) or at the pump, RaceTrac will send a verification text via SMS text message to the phone number you provide. You verify your account by responding “Y” or “Yes” to this text. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive verification text messages from RaceTrac at that number. Standard messaging and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving verification text messages at any time; however, opting out may limit your ability to access your account or participate fully in the RaceTrac Rewards Program. This process is required to verify your identity and secure your account. For POS enrollments, responding to the SMS verification is also required to receive and redeem loyalty offers.  

You must complete the verification process within thirty (30) days of receiving the SMS message. Failure to do so may result in suspension of your account. To keep your account active, complete verification by replying “Y” or “Yes” to the verification text, or download the RaceTrac App and complete sign‑up using the same phone number provided at point‑of‑sale enrollment.  To remove a suspension, you may download the RaceTrac Rewards app or respond “START” via SMS text to 24746. Upon verification, your account will be verified and not in jeopardy of suspension if it remains active in a 24-month period. Enrolled as an “Enrollment Only Member."

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive verification text messages from RaceTrac at that number. Standard messaging and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving verification text messages at any time; however, opting out may limit your ability to access your account or participate fully in the RaceTrac Rewards Program.  

You are responsible for maintaining a current and accurate phone number on your account and for promptly notifying RaceTrac of any changes. Failure to do so may prevent you from receiving important account communications and verification codes. 

 2. Start earning Points on qualifying purchases made at RaceTrac locations (see “Earning Points” below for further details) by (i) scanning the barcode in your Mobile App, (ii) entering your account phone number on the pin pad, or (iii) swiping/scanning your Rewards+ debit card. 

Gift Cards 

You can also use the Mobile App to pay for purchases by registering a RaceTrac gift card to your Mobile App account.  You can purchase a gift card (“Gift Card”), register an existing Gift Card, and reload a Gift Card, all through the Sites.  See “Cards” section within the Sites (whether the Mobile App or otherwise) for further details. 

Your RaceTrac Gift Card is good at participating RaceTrac locations only. There is no expiration date or management fee for your Gift Card.  The RaceTrac Gift Card is redeemable for merchandise only (except as provided below in the “Redeeming Rewards” section, and may not be redeemed for cash, check credit or equivalent, and have no cash value.  Your RaceTrac Gift Card is issued by Consumer Incentive Programs, Inc.  Use of your RaceTrac Gift Card constitutes your acceptance of the Terms as well as additional terms applicable to your purchase, registration and/or use of a Gift Card through the Mobile App. You may not use a Gift Card through the Mobile App to purchase tobacco products, pre-paid cards, alcohol, lottery items, or money order or financial services.

Earning Rewards 

Earn points “Points” in your account when you purchase Qualifying Products at participating RaceTrac locations only. Points will be earned and redeemed as specified in the Rewards Points Terms accessible here or via the link below:

Rewards Points Terms

In-System Rewards 

Based upon the number of Points you earn, you may be eligible for rewards offers through your RaceTrac Rewards account for redemption of merchandise available in-store at participating RaceTrac locations (“In-System Rewards”). 

Coupons 

In addition, you may periodically receive coupons through the Rewards System based on your Points balance and/or your purchase activity or history.   

Qualifying Products 

“Qualifying Products” means all products purchased at participating RaceTrac locations, except alcohol products, tobacco products, purchase or reload of a RaceTrac Gift Card, purchases involving redemption of Points, money orders/transfers, lottery tickets, and other services, as well as any other items expressly excluded in the Rewards Points Terms or otherwise specified as exclusions by RaceTrac from time to time or where prohibited by law. 

Earning Points on In-Store Purchases 

To earn Points for in-store purchases, Members must be enrolled in the Rewards Program through the Rewards System and (i) present your mobile device, with the barcode provided via the Mobile App visible on the screen, for the cashier at a participating RaceTrac location, (ii) scan while making your purchase of Qualifying Products at a participating RaceTrac location, or (iii) enter your Account phone number on the pin pad or scan/swipe your Rewards+ debit card.  For a list of participating locations, please visit www.RaceTrac.com or the “Stores” section within your Mobile App.* The barcode must be scanned prior to completion of the transaction in order to earn and/or redeem Points.  

 

*Certain locations may have cashier stations which do not have functionality to award points. Please ask your cashier if you have questions or if you are not prompted to present your mobile device or phone number. 

Earning Points at the Pump 

For purchases at the pump, Members may earn points by (i) typing in the Member’s phone number when making a fuel purchase, (ii) swiping a Rewards + Debit card as the form of payment, or (iii) other method which may from time-to-time be provided. The member’s phone number will need to be previously entered into the Rewards System for this functionality to be enabled (see “Enrollment” above) and for Points to be earned for such purchases. 

From time to time, due to technical or other difficulties, certain fuel pumps may not allow a Member to enter the Member’s phone number and earn Points at the pump.  If you are not prompted to enter your phone number to earn Points at a fuel pump, please pay inside the store to be awarded your Points. 

Points Calculations 

For qualifying purchases of Qualifying Products inside participating locations as well as at the pump as described above, Members may earn Points according to the formula specified in the Rewards Points Terms. 

Redeeming Rewards 

All Rewards and Coupons redemptions are subject to availability of applicable merchandise. 

  1. Tier Level Rewards: Your Tier Level Reward will be loaded onto your account based upon your purchase activity at participating RaceTrac locations.  In order to redeem your Tier Level Reward, you will need to (i) present your mobile device displaying your Rewards barcode on the Mobile App to the sales associate at the time of eligible purchase, and the sales associate must scan the barcode, (ii) enter the phone number associated with your account, or (iii) swipe/scan your Rewards+ debit card. 

  1. In-System Rewards: When you redeem an In-System Reward, you are redeeming the corresponding Points accrued on your account to earn such In-System Reward.  (Your In-System Rewards will display the number of Points you will be redeeming if you elect to redeem the applicable In-System Reward.)  Alternatively, you may choose to not redeem an In-System Reward (and associated Points) and instead continue saving such earned Points to earn different In-System Rewards.  When making a purchase redeeming an In-System Reward using Points, you will need to (i) present your mobile device displaying your Rewards barcode on the Mobile App to the sales associate at the time of eligible purchase, and the sales associate must scan the barcode, (ii) enter the phone number associated with your account, or (iii) swipe/scan your Rewards+ debit card.  

  1. Coupons: To redeem a Coupon, you will need to (i) present your mobile device displaying your Rewards barcode on the Mobile App to the sales associate at the time of eligible purchase, and the sales associate must scan the barcode, (ii) enter the phone number associated with your account, or (iii) swipe/scan your Rewards+ debit card.   

  1. Substitutions: No substitutions or cash refunds are allowed. 

  1. No ReturnsNo returns or exchanges on purchases using redeemed Points.  Once Points are redeemed, Points cannot be credited back to a Member’s account. 

Member Information and Communications 

By participating in the Rewards Program, you agree to receive communications and messages from us related to the Rewards Program and RaceTrac’s various goods and services via email, social media and various other channels, including in-app messages delivered through the Mobile App.  We may use these channels to communicate your account status, notify you when you are eligible for a reward, communicate program changes, offer special promotions, coupons, information and offerings that we believe may be of interest to you, and more.  Members who opt out of all marketing communications will not receive further communications, except for certain messages that pertain solely to administration of your Rewards Program account or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.  Your information will be protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

You may also opt-in to receive SMS communications from RaceTrac Rewards and by doing so agree to the SMS terms of use here.  

RaceTrac Rewards SMS Supplemental Terms of Use 

PLEASE READ THESE SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY.  BY OPTING IN TO THE RACETRAC REWARDS SMS PROGRAM, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO RECEIVE RECURRING MARKETING TEXT MESSAGES FROM RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. (“RACETRAC” OR “WE”, “OUR” AND “US”).  YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS DESCRIBED HEREIN (the “sms terms”) AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.  THE SMS TERMS INCORPORATE BY REFERENCE RACETRAC’S TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY POLICY.  You may opt-out of these communications at any time, and consent to receive marketing text messages is not required to purchase any goods or services.   

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE SMS TERMS, YOU SHOULD NOT AGREE TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES FROM RACETRAC, OR PARTICIPATE OR ENROLL IN THERaceTrac Rewards SMS program.  You acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood the SMS Terms, and that the SMS Terms have the same force and effect as a signed agreement. 

We may change, modify, suspend, terminate and/or eliminate the RaceTrac Rewards SMS programand/or update or modify the SMSTerms at any time and in our sole discretion.  Any changes or modifications to the SMS Terms will be effective immediately, unless otherwise stated, upon posting the changes or modifications to https://www.racetrac.com/Terms-of-Use and you waive any right you may have to receive notice of any such changes or modifications. 

 RaceTrac Rewards SMS Program Description 

  1. Through the RaceTrac Rewards SMS program we may send you promotions, offers and other communications related to RaceTrac Rewards via SMS message. Enrolling in the Program via SMS offers limited access to the Rewards Program. SMS only members can earn points and receive automatic discounts available, however, benefits such as redeeming Rewards points and opting into certain offers are only in the Mobile App or Site.  

How to Opt-Out 

You can cancel your participation in the RaceTrac Rewards SMS program at any time. Just text "STOP" to 24746. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. Note that this will only opt you out of the RaceTrac Rewards SMS program.  You will remain opted in to other RaceTrac communications.

Supported Carriers 

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.  Supported carriers may change from time to time in the sole discretion of RaceTrac. 

Costs 

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you, in addition to any roaming charges, if applicable. You may receive multiple messages from us on a weekly basis. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider. 

Your Mobile Telephone Number 

You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide to RaceTrac, and you are solely responsible for notifying RaceTrac immediately if you change your mobile telephone number.  You agree to indemnify RaceTrac for all claims, losses, actions, liabilities, fines, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by (i) your provision of a telephone number for which you are not the account holder or (ii) your failure to notify RaceTrac if you change your telephone number, including, but not limited to, all claims, losses, actions, liabilities, fines, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.  

Eligibility 

To receive text messages from RaceTrac in connection with age-restricted offers from RaceTrac Rewards, you must be a resident of the United States and 21 years of age or older.  You represent that you have entered your correct age when asked for confirmation at enrollment.  

Accounts and Passwords 

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your email, username, phone number, and password, and for any and all activity that occurs under your account, including all orders placed through your account. You agree to notify RaceTrac immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password. You may not use the account, username or password of any other individual or company at any time without the express written permission and consent of the holder of the account, username or password.  RaceTrac will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your account information confidential, notify RaceTrac of any unauthorized use of your account, or other failure to comply with this paragraph. 

Account Deletion 

In the event you wish to delete your RaceTrac Rewards account, please contact RaceTrac Guest Engagement to request user data deletion at guest@racetrac.com or by calling 1-888-636-5589

Account Inactivity 

RaceTrac reserves the right to suspend or terminate any RaceTrac Rewards account that remains inactive for a period exceeding twenty-four (24) consecutive months. Inactivity is defined as the absence of any qualifying transaction, redemption, or account activity during this period. 

If your account is suspended or terminated due to inactivity, any accumulated rewards, points, or benefits associated with the account may be forfeited without notice and without liability to RaceTrac. 

Miscellaneous 

  1. There is currently no membership fee associated with the Rewards Program.  Points accumulated are promotional and have no cash value. 

  1. Members may not sell, transfer or assign Points. (Members may transfer offers made available through the Rewards System, but only as described above in the “Earning Rewards” section.)  A member may have only one Rewards Program account. 

  1. We reserve the right to terminate a Member’s account and/or participation in the Rewards Program if we believe the Member has violated the Privacy Policy, these Rewards Terms or any other policy or guideline pertaining to the Rewards Program; or if the use of the account is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. 

  1. We reserve the right to offer additional and/or different Rewards Program benefits to some members based on geographic location, Rewards Program participation, purchase activity or other criteria as determined by us.  Some of our special promotional offers, benefits, and communications also may be based on Member usage or purchase volume or type of purchases. 

The Rewards Program is for your personal noncommercial use only.

RaceTrac Rewards Points Terms 

There are two (2) types of rewards (“Rewards”) Members are eligible to earn through the Rewards Program: (1) Tier Level Rewards; and (2) In-System Rewards (each as described below).  In addition, Members may be eligible to receive coupon offers (“Coupons”).  Points earned by active Members will expire on a 365-day rolling schedule. Rewards and Points are not transferable. 

You acknowledge and agree that RaceTrac, Inc. (“RaceTrac”) may modify the number of Points required to be eligible for any or all Rewards. 

Tier Level Rewards 

Beginning on March 3, 2025, iyou have earned enough Points to meet one of the Tier Levels (see below), you have earned a Tier Level Reward as follows:

1 free any size fountain or frozen drink per day beginning as of the date the Member first earned 4000 points 

*Please note that drink purchases eligible for redemption of Tier Level Rewards are limited to fountain drinks and frozen drinks only (i.e., bottled drinks are not eligible). 

† Note the rules below that apply to how Points you have earned count to help you achieve a Tier: 

  1. Effective in 2025, any Tier Qualifying Points earned between January 1 and December 31 will determine a Member’s Tier Level beginning on the date a Member earns enough Points to achieve a Tier as outlined in the above table (the “Tier Achievement Date”), and ending on December 31 of the following year, at which time Member’s Tier Level will be re-evaluated based on the number of Tier Qualifying Points earned between January 1 – December 31 of the prior year.  Tier Qualifying Points will reset to 0 every January. Tier Qualifying Points reset does not impact your Available Points balance. Available Points (redeemable points) will expire 365 days after earning if a Member does not redeem any available points during such period. When points expire they will be removed from a Member’s account and will not be available for future redemption.   

  1. Tier Qualifying Point balances will be displayed in your account on the Rewards System. Members who would like to track their Tier Qualifying Points balance should visit the Rewards page in the RaceTrac App in the Status section.  There may be a delay between the time of your purchase and the corresponding update to your Point total on the Rewards System available for redemption toward purchase of Qualifying Products.
